The Role of Educational Leadership in the Management of Private Vocational Colleges and Its Impact on School Performance |

As an important component of China's higher education system, private vocational colleges shoulder the responsibility of cultivating applied talents for society. With the deepening of higher education reform, private vocational colleges are facing a more intense competitive environment, and the requirements for school leadership are also increasing. This article focuses on educational leadership, explores its role in the management of private vocational colleges, and analyzes its impact on school performance, aiming to provide some inspiration and suggestions for leaders of private vocational colleges. The article first elaborates on the concept and connotation of educational leadership, and analyzes the importance of educational leadership in the management of private vocational colleges based on their characteristics and current development status. The article then explores the role of educational leadership in the management of private vocational colleges from five dimensions: strategic leadership, change leadership, cultural leadership, talent leadership, and resource integration. Through case analysis and empirical research, the impact mechanism of educational leadership on school performance is revealed. Finally, the article proposes path suggestions to enhance the educational leadership of private vocational colleges, including strengthening the construction of leaders' own qualities, optimizing school governance structure, creating a good campus culture, and establishing effective incentive mechanisms.
